Zoe-perry
Perry was born July 25, 1968 in Chicago In Illinois, she was the child of Laurie Metcalf Perry and Jeff Perry. Her first appearance was in the television screen in the role of Jackie Harris, a character played by her mother in the ABC comedy Roseanne. Fearing stress, her parents did not want to see her pursue acting before she turned 18. Perry was shy in high-school and was not a performer. She began acting in the year 2000 at Northwestern University to gain friends when she transferred from Boston University. Perry was able to land tiny TV roles on Law & Order: Criminal Intent after she graduated. However, her homesickness brought her back to California and she returned working in the stage. In 2013, she was a part of The Other Place on Broadway alongside her mother. Perry was in the show with their father Kevin McKidd and Eugene O'Neill's Pulitzer Prize winning drama Anna Christie in the year 2015 at the Odyssey Theatre Ensemble, West Los Angeles. Perry was in nine episodes of ABC's thriller The Family during 2016. In 2017, she played a supporting role in the ABC political drama Scandal which starred her father. In the same year, she appeared as a younger version of Mary Cooper on Young Sheldon (a CBS spinoff The Big Bang Theory) as her mother in a youthful version. Despite the fact that she has a connection with her family to the character, she was offered the role through an audition.
